GEZE wins gold at the Architects’ Darling 2021
GEZE has once again won an award at the ceremony for the Architects’ Darling 2021. The specialist in innovative and modern door and window technology has taken gold in the category of safety technology/access control, and silver for its automatic doors. Once again this year, over 1,800 architects and planners took part in the voting for the renowned prize. The award is evidence of the competence that key decision-makers in the building sector see in GEZE.
GEZE supports and connects everyone involved in the building life cycle
At this year's Architects' Darling Awards, GEZE achieved gold in the safety technology/access control category.
Doors today have to satisfy multiple guidelines for fire protection, burglary protection, thermal insulation, sound proofing and accessibility. Currently, key aspects in hygiene and access management are also important, partially due to the coronavirus pandemic. Safety systems in buildings fulfil many different requirements for safety and control. Smart solutions from GEZE offer state-of-the art identification methods and powerful control units – to protect the security of personnel, material property and data. The profiles of requirements that result from these areas for automatic doors and building management are complex. Because of this, GEZE supports its customers throughout the entire product life cycle. This facilitates customised solutions to the given requirements and needs. Professional planning and installation of products, as well as comprehensive after-sales services and training sessions, are also available from GEZE as a service-oriented provider. This includes, for example, practical planning and management tools such as free BIM objects, text building blocks for tender texts as well as installation instructions and check lists.

In contrast to many other competitions in the architecture and building sector, instead of a jury, it is architects and planners themselves who vote on which recipients will receive the Architects’ Darling award.
We are very proud to receive the Architects’ Darling award once again. We see ourselves as a service-oriented, trustworthy partner for products, system solutions and services for doors. In this function, we support and connect everyone involved in the building life cycle – with the goal of making buildings even more liveable”.
