GEZE products such as hold-open systems, automatic door systems or smoke and heat extraction systems (RWA) increase comfort levels within a building. At the same time, they are always an integral part of a safety concept. That is why building laws set strict requirements for the installation, inspection and maintenance of such systems.
In order to ensure that you are always able to engage the services of highly qualified experts for maintenance and inspection work, GEZE trains over 3,000 technicians a year in more than ten different specialisms.
Participants at the GEZE seminars will receive a GEZE certificate. Since technical regulations as well as products are constantly evolving, the certificate’s validity is limited to four years. Our recommendation: make sure that you are shown this certificate before employing the services of a tradesman. This will also ensure that you do not miss out on being able to make any potentially valid warranty claims. Service technicians from GEZE Service GmbH are of course always available to help you.
One of the explicit demands set out by the applicable buildings regulations and norms: the commissioning of the system may only be carried out by an expert trained by the manufacturer. When conducting maintenance work, the user must also observe the guidelines provided by the manufacturer. One of the special characteristics for RWA is that commissioning has to be carried out by a specialist who is responsible for aligning the effectiveness of the system with the fire protection concept.
